Mrs. Dolan's mathematics classes

 I expect that every student will come to class ready to learn mathematics.  While I strongly encourage helping one another, talking, texting, interrupting and not working are not acceptable behaviors for our classroom and will result in calls home, housemaster involvement and detentions.

For extra credit - solve for x.  Include a check of your solution. 

3(x–2) + 5(7–9x) + 27 = 13x – (5+2)x– 20

Homework Guidelines

• All assignments are due on the date specified in "date due" column.

•Head your paper with your name and the assignment (page and problem numbers.)

•Number and copy down the problems. (Lengthy word problems are an exception.)

•You must show your work on any problem which requires it. 

•A paper which is just a list of answers will not be accepted for credit.

(No work = No credit.)

•Your work should be legible.

(Neat and written using a pencil dark enough to read.)

•Doodles have no place on your paper, nor do notes to/from your friends.

•Notes to me are welcome -- questions, observations, etc.

•If you have more than one paper, please staple them together.

(Don't fold the corners.)
